Owner Earl Valencia grew up with his grandparents in the Philippine province of Isabela. In 1999, he moved to Austria and began his training as a restaurateur. Earl's career took him from the Parkhotel Pörtschach to the trendy restaurant Motto am Fluss, where he most recently worked as the restaurant manager.
The close bond with his grandparents remains strong despite the physical distance – his first own restaurant is dedicated to them: Lolo & Lola, which translates to Grandpa and Grandma.
Closely connected within the Filipino community, the team at Lolo & Lola also has its roots in Southeast Asia and embodies the Filipino spirit with a modern culinary flair. The menu features creative fusion cuisine with fresh, local ingredients and a wide range of vegan and vegetarian dishes.
